Independence Day and hot water

I had another long weekend - five days - this weekend, thanks to Independence Day, a regular day off and a day of vacation. We swam, I cleaned and organized our closet, watched Aladdin for the 100th time, but it hasn't been all fun and games. Dusty and I have been fighting our water heater for a few weeks now. He and my dad braved the excruciating heat in our attic to try and repair it, but we finally surrendered and bought a new one today.
